2024 NBA playoffs bracket, schedule, scores, results: Mavericks oust top-seeded Thunder, head back to WCF (2024)

The Dallas Mavericks are in the Western Conference finals for the second time in three years. The Mavs won a thrilling Game 6 on Saturday night, eliminating the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in the process. Dallas trailed by as many as 17 points in Game 6, but rallied at home and got clutch free throws from P.J. Washington to secure the win.

The Mavericks joined the Boston Celtics as teams who have advanced to the conference finals. Dallas will face either the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals. The Wolves and Nuggets are squaring off in Game 7 on Sunday night as Minnesota tries to eliminate the reigning champs.

There are two Game 7s on Sunday. The first is between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers, who have split the first six games of their series. The home team has won ever game of the series so far, a trend the Knicks will hope continue as they host Game 7 at Madison Square Garden.

Boston is in the Eastern Conference finals, awaiting the winner of the Knicks-Pacers series. The Celtics ousted the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games in the second round.

The Warriors, Kings, Hawks and Bulls were ousted in the Play-In Tournament before the Pelicans, Suns, Clippers, Lakers, Heat, 76ers, Bucks and Magic were eliminated in the first round.
