What is the Cardinals 50/50 raffle? ›

At every Cardinals home game, Cardinals Charities selects a different beneficiary for the 50/50 raffle held in-stadium. Half of the total funds raised benefit the various local organizations selected through Cardinals Charities while the other half goes to a lucky winner.

Since the money raised is split between the winner and your cause, a 50/50 raffle might not raise as much as a traditional raffle. But the ROI (return on investment) is off the charts. Printed raffle tickets are your only cost, but you can even offset that by lining up a sponsor to advertise on the back.

The typical raffle ticket price for common events is $1, but $5 or $10 are also used. You can also offer some kind of discount – for example, if the price for one is $1, the price for 12 tickets could be $10. The raffle ticket price should be fixed – the same for all people.
