The 2024 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Men's World Tennis Tour is an entry level tour for men's professional tennis. It is organized by the International Tennis Federation and is a tier below the ATP Challenger Tour. The men's tour includes tournaments with prize money of either $US15,000 or $25,000.
This basically means that the entire $25,000 is to be distributed amongst the 32 players that qualify for the main draw. The winner of an ITF $25,000 receives a modest #3,600 for his/her efforts, which is in all honesty not a lot of money taking into account the expenses a player has to bear.
Professional tennis players are paid according to their performance in a tournament. Before a tennis tournament starts, the organization establishes the prize money breakdown (how much the champion, runner-up, semi-finalists, etc., will make). Players are compensated according to what round they lose.
