1.Gumbo Limbo and Sand Bar

Ritz Carlton Naples, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples

The well-groomed grounds and island-y feel at the Ritz Carlton’s casual beach bars make them our first pic for fun beach bars in Naples. Gumbo Limbo has a casual vibe, great view, and delicious food from burgers to island-style fare.

The Sand Bar just steps away is the hangout beach bar. You’ll have a view of the beach and ocean from your seat at both along an elevated outdoor boardwalk with steps leading down to the beach. They don’t seem to mind people in bathing suits or with sandy feet (although it’s always polite to brush the sand off).

The drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed. This is a great place to watch the sunset — sittin’ at the Ritz!

PRO TIP: Go for the Valet parking! When you’re done at the bar, show them your receipt and they’ll validate your parking, free of charge. Remember, tips are always appreciated. How’s that for concierge beach bar service!

2.Rhodes’s End Beach Bar & Grill

Located at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, access is via Clam Pass Beach Path, Naples

If you’re looking for a unique sunset beach bar, Naples has a few and Rhode’s End is located right on the beach. Seating is on an elevated deck with umbrella tables, an awning-covered area, and high chairs along the deck railing. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a great view of sunset over the Gulf.

This is a great casual place to relax and have a late lunch. Like the name implies, the menu has some wonderful simple Greek items. They offer a very nice selection of cold beer and tropical co*cktails.

3.Doc’s Beach House

27908 Hickory Blvd, Bonita Springs

Doc’s Beach House is legendary and what many visitors consider a must-do. You have the choice of sitting inside in the air-conditioned dining room, or grab one of the umbrella tables almost right on Bonita’s public beach.

Watch paddlers, wave runners, and parasailers while you sip your favorite. Ice cold beer by the pitcher along with a full-service outdoor bar make ordering another round a cinch. We love the wide menu which includes appetizers, seafood items, burgers, and a killer pizza.

It gets pretty crowded here with good reason, and if you can’t find a parking spot in the surrounding lots, don’t get discouraged. Doc’s offers concierge parking for just tips.

4.Sunset Grille

Voted the “Best Beach Bar” and “Best Sports Bar” on Marco Island, the Sunset Grille is among everyone’s favorite Marco Island beach bars. The location is prime and the atmosphere is fun — a sports bar on the beach? Who knew! If you don’t mind all the TVs, you’ll enjoy great mixed drinks, cold beer, fun appetizers, wings, pub fare, and yummy baskets.

Sunset Grille has a great view of the Gulf and is accessible from the beach, so you won’t miss sunset. After sunset stay for dinner and have a glass of wine from their very nice wine list.

5.Kane Tiki Bar & Grill

Located in the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, 400 S Collier Blvd, Marco Island

Kane’s Tiki Bar and Grill at the J.W. Marriott is one of the most popular Marco Island beach bars. Inspired by Balinese design, you can cozy up to the tiki bar under the huge thatched roof, or sit under an umbrella with your toes in the sand. It’s all casual here and the view of sunset with a cold beverage in-hand is not to be missed.

The Asian influenced menu offers light bites, and choose your crafted co*cktail from the incredible rum selection. You have to try the toasted coconut mojito!

Order another round as the sun sinks below the horizon, and wait for the fire dancers to appear. You’ll think you’re in Hawaii! This is a lovely and fun bar right on the beach. We frequently stop here when visiting Marco Island.

6.The Island Gypsy Cafe & Marina Bar

This "Locally World Famous” fun beach bar has scenic waterfront views and a view of the sunset on the peaceful Isle of Capri. The Island Gypsy is a happy casual open-air bar and restaurant located at the marina. Great unique tropical co*cktails like a Bahama Mama and Naked Turtle Cola are expertly blended along with a nice and inexpensive house wine.

For a little something at sunset order the Key West Conch Fritters (our personal favorite), mussels, or coconut shrimp. if you want something more filling there are seafoods, steaks, oven baked pizza, and a nice assortment of sandwiches.

Dogs on a leash are welcome on the spacious deck seating area as long as they show their best manners. During season it’s a good idea to make a reservation.

7.Capri Fish House Restaurant

203 Capri Blvd, Naples (Isle of Capri)

Here’s a fun and laid-back indoor-outdoor venue featuring a beachside tiki hut. Enjoy your drink on the sand at the water’s edge, and it’s okay to move your chair and put your feet in the warm water while you sip. We’ve seen feeding dolphins swim almost to the beach where we were sitting enjoying our feet in the water. Amazing to watch!

Cold draft beer and refreshing co*cktails are served with your choice of tasty appetizers like conch fritters, oysters Rockefeller, or mussels marinara. Stick around for a second round and dinner from their excellent menu. We like the delicious and fresh sauteed Snapper Veracruz.

This laid-back tiki hut welcomes leashed dogs in the outdoor seating area. Beachfront tables overlooking the water are also dog friendly.

We love this beach bar/restaurant for lunch. Pelican Bend has been family owned and operated for over 40 years and is a landmark on Isle of Capri. The laid-back tiki bar with a thatched roof is on the water so you can take-in a gorgeous sunset over Johnson Bay and chat with the resident pelicans that like to hang-out on the dock.The full service bar offers a variety of cold beer, craft co*cktails, and wine. Have fresh oysters when in season, great burgers, a combo basket with fried oysters and fish, and Granny's homemade pies.If you love fish tacos as much as we do, try theirs. They’re excellent. Outdoor water view seating is dog friendly and long as their behaving themselves and on a leash.
